Dioni Abersoch Coast Trail
The Dioni Abersoch Coast Trail is a coastal trail running event in Abersoch on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales. The event includes multiple distances that follow sections of the Llŷn coastline and start and finish on Abersoch Beach.
The route passes notable landmarks such as Tudwal's Islands and Porth Ceiriad. The longer route continues to Porth Neigwl, also known as Hell's Mouth, before returning to Abersoch. The event is part of the Abersoch Triple Crown series.
Timing is provided using ChronoChip bibtag technology. Drink stations and the finish area offer water or hydration drink and recovery food and drink. Finishers receive a zinc alloy medal with a bespoke lanyard and a technical race T shirt. The finish area typically includes music, food, drinks and a beach bar.
Race management includes clear course signs, friendly marshals, professional traffic management and medic support. The event is affiliated to the Welsh Athletics Association and entrants must follow Welsh Athletics rules and regulations.
