Abermule Point to Point

The Abermule Point to Point race, organized by Maldwyn Harriers, is the second in the summer race series and covers approximately 5 miles of scenic and multi-terrain paths along the river and canal towpath. Taking place on Sunday, May 19, 2024, the race starts at 10:00 and is open to runners aged 16 and above. The course, starting at Back Lane car park in Newtown and finishing at Abermule Community Centre, is not suitable for wheelchairs or prams.
Entry fees are £8 for club members, £10 for unattached runners, and £5 for those aged 18 and under. Awards will be given in all categories, and refreshments will be available at the Community Centre. Participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements for transportation back to the start as no official transport is provided. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
