ABBATHON 5K & 10K Run - Aberdeen
ABBATHON combines an ABBA tribute show with a timed 5K and 10K run at Duthie Park in Aberdeen on 4 April 2027. The event mixes live music, DJ sets and a tribute performance with running on routes through the park.
A live ABBA tribute act performs for at least 45 minutes before the race starts. Music guides carrying speakers will be positioned on course to play music for participants, although continuous coverage for the entire route is not guaranteed. Professional photographers will take event photos and these will be available free online within 72 hours after the event.
All runners receive bibs with chip timing so official finish times can be provided after the run. Finishers receive a special-edition medal inspired by ABBA elements. Post-race refreshments include fresh fruit. A limited edition ABBATHON finisher T-shirt is available for an additional cost of £19.99.
Distances and entry prices:
- ABBATHON 5K Run: £29.99
- ABBATHON 10K Run: £31.99
The event site is Duthie Park, Polmuir Road, Aberdeen AB11 7TH. Organisers advise using public transport, walking or cycling where possible; parking at and around the park is limited. Aberdeen city centre has a Low Emission Zone and some driving routes may pass through it. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
