AAPI 5K Run 'n' Walk - Lexington
The AAPI 5K Run 'n' Walk in Lexington is an annual community event held on May 9, 2027. The event is organized by CAAL and Hey Runners Club and takes place at Lexington High School, 251 Waltham Street, Lexington, MA. It combines AAPI Heritage Month themes with Mother's Day recognition and family participation.
The course is USATF certified and chip timed. Water stations are located at the 1-mile and 2-mile marks. The event includes a post-race Taste of AAPI featuring samples of AAPI cuisines. Every mother attending will receive a rose. The top 550 finishers will receive a 2027 finisher medal. A limited number of race T-shirts are reserved for early registrants, and a surprise gift is planned for participants with five consecutive years of attendance.
Registration fees are listed by category: regular registration is $40, youth under 10 and participants aged 60 or older are $20, and onsite race day registration is $45. Children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Award categories include overall male and female places, age group first places, family and race team awards, and recognition for the largest family and race teams. Team awards require at least three members and use the top three scores for ranking. Parking is available at Lexington High School and nearby lots including Park Drive and the town pool parking.
