AAPI 5K Run 'n' Walk Lexington : May 10, 2026
The event is an eco friendly, USATF certified 5K held in Lexington at Lexington High School, 251 Waltham Street, Lexington, MA 02421. The race is chip timed and includes a water station at 1.5 miles. The event has run since 2022 and has drawn over 500 participants annually to experience AAPI history, art, and food.
The program ties AAPI Heritage Month to Mother’s Day. Every mother receives a rose and all finishers receive a 2026 finisher medal. After the race a Taste of AAPI offers sample bites of AAPI cuisines. The first 300 registrants receive a premium quick dry race T shirt. Participants with five consecutive years of attendance will receive a surprise gift. Children 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Registration fees listed for regular entry, age discounts, and race day onsite registration are provided by the organizer. Awards include overall male and female top finishers, family team and race team awards, age group first places for multiple brackets, and recognition for the biggest family and race teams. Teams must have at least three members and only the top three scores are counted. Parking is available in the Lexington High School lots and nearby town parking areas.
