6th Annual A. W. Stanley Park 5K
This event takes place at A. W. Stanley Park in New Britain, CT. It benefits Special Olympics Connecticut. The event includes a 5K timed run and a 1-mile untimed walk. A virtual 1-mile, 5K, and 10K are also offered.
Medals will be given to the top three finishers in various age groups for in-person participants. A T-shirt is included with registration for in-person participants. The route is scenic with some rolling hills and is contained within the park, except for a brief leg on the sidewalk along Stanley Street. The course begins and ends at the same location. Bathrooms and free parking are available on site. There will be vendors at the event.
