A Spooktacular 5K - Trick or Trunk
A Spooktacular 5K - Trick or Trunk takes place on October 24, 2026 at Campus Park in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The event includes a community Trunk or Treat that is free and open to the public and a night run on paved trails covering 3.1 miles.
The night run asks participants to wear bright clothing and lights, and costumes are encouraged. Registration is required for the 5K. Packet pickup is available on race day at the 5Kevents trailer; there is no pre race packet pickup. Parking is provided throughout the park.
Organizers recognize top performers with awards. The top three males and top three females receive a finisher medal and recognition pin. Awards are also given to the top males and females in 5 year age groups, with a separate category for ages 9 and under. A costume contest will name winners in Adult and Child categories.
The event page describes a referral program tied to registration. Each registrant receives a unique URL to share; each signup through that link counts as a referral. Earning ten referrals results in a credit for the remainder of the base registration fee.
