Scary in the Prairie 5K
Scary in the Prairie is a timed 5 km held at Lake Andrea in Pleasant Prairie, WI. The race starts and finishes at the Beer Garden on the west side of Lake Andrea and follows the paved running path around the lake. The listed event location is 9900 Terwall Terrace, Pleasant Prairie.
Packet pickup and day of registration are available from 4:00 to 4:45 pm in the Wruck Pavilion building. Online registration has a stated deadline of October 23, 2026 at 12:00 noon CT and the event has a total registration limit of 200 participants. Entry fee information lists $30 for online registration. Registrants must register by October 5 to guarantee t shirt size. Registration cancellations are not allowed for this event.
All participants receive an event shirt and a finisher medal. The event includes top placer certificates and a best costume contest; the winner of Best Costume receives free registration to a future RecPlex walk run event.
