Event Overview
A Run Through History takes place at South-View Cemetery, one of the most historic landmarks in Atlanta. This event encourages community engagement by inviting participants to experience the legacy and beauty of these resting grounds. The event features a single distance:

The 5 km course is located entirely within the scenic grounds of the cemetery. The route consists of paved roads and includes gentle rolling hills and shaded sections. As this is a respectful run through a sacred space, participants are required to stay on the marked course at all times. The organizers describe the route as a challenging course for runners.
Participant Information
Water stations are positioned along the route to support participants. The course is clearly marked, and volunteers are available throughout the grounds to provide guidance and answer questions. Registration includes a free T-shirt provided upon completion of the race.
On-site packet pickup and day-of registration are available for those who have not registered in advance.
