A Day in the Park : Lebanon, Ohio
A Day in the Park is a timed ultrarunning event held on November 7, 2026 at Miller Ecological Park in Lebanon, Ohio. The event offers multiple race formats on a USTAF certified one mile loop (course number OH24030JHP).
The loop is flat with minimal elevation and a crushed gravel surface. The course runs through the park and provides space for participants to set up tents along the loop. A central aid station at the start/finish area offers typical ultrarunning items and a rotating menu of breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices, including fresh fruit smoothies, pancakes, avocado wraps, and popsicles.
This event combines a 24 hour timed format with a 100 mile race option; participants who reach 100 miles may choose to stop and have that distance recorded, or continue for a 24 hour total. Only one result will be posted for each entrant on ultrasignup, either the 100 mile result or the 24 hour result, depending on the participant’s choice during the event.
Event organization and logistics are managed by Empower Ultras, a women owned and women led Southwest Ohio company. Swag includes rabbit shirts and a personalized award made in Ohio by a local artist; a belt buckle is provided to everyone who completes 100 miles or more. Packet pickup is at the park.
