Rachel & Friends 5k
Rachel & Friends 5k is a community running event in Washington Township, Ohio, organized by a non-profit that works with adults with developmental disabilities. The event aims to showcase and celebrate individuals with Down Syndrome, Autism, and other developmental challenges through public participation.
The event offers multiple distances:
- 5k (3.1 Miles)
- 1 Mile
- Fun Run (0.25 Miles)
Registration fees are listed for each event; the fun run is free for children. A shirt is available for participants who complete online registration by September 20, 2026; registrations after that date may not receive a shirt at the event. In-person registration will be available on the day of the event at 1:00 p.m.
Packet pick-up is scheduled for October 2, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1700 Lyons Road, Suite A2, A New You Total Wellness. Awards are given by age category at the end of the race, and a $100 gift card is awarded to the overall top male and top female finishers. Age group awards cover these categories: 0-11, 12-18, 19-39, 40-59, and 60 and up.
