Event overview
A Christmas Carol Bobble Hat Run is organised by Saturn Running at The Last Hop, Unit 2, Thames Edge Court, Clarence Street, Staines, TW18 4SU on 6 December 2025. Bobble hat entries are sold out; entries made from 7 November are for the run entry and include a running buff. Entry prices on record range from £18 to £42. A £28 entry price is available only to members; members are guaranteed entry and receive a mini-me medal pin at events. Final race instructions are sent by email in the week before the event. Number pick up is on the day at race registration.
Distances and course
This is a 7-hour Time Challenge where participants choose how many laps to run. Minimum distance is 3 km. One full lap is listed as 4.37 miles (about 7 km) but may change to a 3.28 mile loop depending on course conditions. Examples of lap counts: 3 laps for a half marathon, 6 for a marathon, 7 or more for an ultra. A 50 km distance is also available.

The course runs along the River Thames, is fully signed, mainly on well made paths and tarmac with a short grass section. Road shoes are suitable year round. The route is subject to change after a health and safety review.
Facilities and services
Medals and a buff are given to finishers who complete at least 3 km. Distance pins are available for half-marathon, mega-half, marathon, 50 km and ultra distances and are attached to the medal ribbon. A goody bag is provided, with a vegan option available on request. An aid table and drinks table are at the start/finish of each lap with drinks and a selection of snacks including vegan options. Toilets and changing facilities are available at the venue HQ throughout the event. There is parking at Bridge Street Car Park, Staines, TW18 4TP. Headphones are allowed.
