Event Overview
The A Charlie Brown Christmas 10K is the fifth annual edition of this holiday-themed running event. It takes place on Saturday, December 19, in Dallas, Texas. The race starts and finishes at Trinity Groves Gateway Plaza, near the Continental Pedestrian Bridge and the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge.
Course Details
The 10K route is described as a mostly flat and fast out-and-back course on the Trinity Skyline Trail. It is a USATF-certified course. The event also includes a separate 5K race and a Snoopy Kids Dash for children aged 12 and under.
Participant Information
All participants in the 10K receive an officially licensed Peanuts finisher medal, a participant bib, and a performance blend t-shirt. Post-race refreshments are provided, and Santa makes an appearance. The event caps registration at 2,000 total participants; it sold out in each of the previous four years. It is part of the Peanuts Event Series.
Logistics
Packet pickup is available on the Thursday and Friday before the race at a partner location in Dallas. Limited event-day packet pickup is available for an additional fee. Parking is available in lots and garages around Trinity Groves. There is no gear check on event day. A water station is located on the course.
