9RunRun 5K & Color Fun Run
The 9RunRun 5K and Color Fun Run is a community athletic event held at Manchester High School in Manchester Township, New Jersey. This inaugural event supports the Manchester Police Foundation, with proceeds benefiting the Police Unity Tour and supporting the health and welfare of local police and public safety telecommunicators. Participants can choose between two main events:
- 5K Run
- Color Fun Run (1 Mile Fun Run)
The 5K course accommodates those looking to set personal records as well as individuals walking with friends. Recognition is provided through medals for top male and female finishers, as well as selected age group categories. Specific awards are also designated for top finishers from law enforcement, dispatch, fire, and EMS services.
Beyond the running events, the day features various community activities onsite. These include a Touch-A-Truck event, a dunk tank, food trucks, and music provided by a DJ. Participants who register before April 1 receive an event t-shirt. Packet pick-up is scheduled for the day prior to the race at the Manchester Township Police Department Lobby.
