Manasquan Beach 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk and Party
The annual Manasquan Beach 2 mile fun run and walk takes place in Manasquan, New Jersey, with activities centered at Leggett's Sand Bar, 217 First Avenue. The course covers local streets and Beach Walk for 1 3/4 miles and finishes with 1/4 mile on the beach. The event includes a post-race party at Leggett's Sand Bar with a free buffet for participants.
Registration includes a race bib and a custom hooded sweatshirt designed by Dr. T-Shirt. The event raises funds for Manasquan Cares, an organization that provides local food assistance, help for health issues, and monetary assistance when needed. Over the past 20 years the event has helped raise over $300,000 for this cause.
Awards are presented to the overall top 10 male and top 10 female finishers. Late registration as well as sweatshirt and bib pickup are scheduled at Leggett's Sand Bar on the day before the event and on race day.
