9/11 Heroes Run - San Antonio, Texas
The 9/11 Heroes Run in San Antonio is an event to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since. The event brings together community members, local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
Distances offered include:
- 5K running and rucking divisions
- 1 mile run/walk
Rucking divisions are offered in partnership with GORUCK. Participants registered in the GORUCK division receive the event's TMF GORUCK patch. Multiple 5K divisions are listed, including individual, active duty or first responder, honor bib Rider, and a Pusher category. A 5K ruck division is available with separate fees for some categories.

Registration fees vary by division, from free honor-bib and volunteer spots up to forty dollars for some ruck entries. A short community 1 mile run/walk is also part of the program.
