9/11 Heroes Run - San Antonio, Texas
The event on 09/12/2026 at McAllister Park in San Antonio honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since. It brings together runners, ruckers, walkers, veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
Distances and divisions include:
- 5K run, including PUSHER and RIDER Honor Bib options
- 5K ruck, GORUCK division with an event patch
- 1-mile run/walk, open to individuals and families of all fitness levels
Registration fees vary by division: 5K regular $36.00, 5K PUSHER $28.00, 5K RIDER (Honor Bib) $0.00, 5K Ruck $41.00, 1-mile $21.00. Volunteer registration has no fee.
TMF partners with GORUCK to offer rucking divisions at the event. Rucking is a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks.
