9/11 Heroes Run - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
The 9/11 Heroes Run at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia is a community event held on September 12, 2026. It honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and activates and unites communities while supporting local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The event program includes multiple course options and a volunteer program. Registration for the running and rucking events opens June 3, 2026 and closes June 30, 2026. Volunteer registration opens June 3, 2026 and closes on the event day. Registration fees listed for the event are $36.00 for the 5K run, $41.00 for the 5K ruck, and $21.00 for the 1-mile run/walk; volunteer registration is free.
GORUCK presents rucking divisions at the event. Rucking is described as walking or running while carrying a weighted rucksack, based on special forces training. Participants registered in the GORUCK division receive the annual TMF GORUCK patch.
