9/11 Heroes Run - Dallas Fort Worth, Texas
The event takes place at the National Medal of Honor Museum, 1861 AT&T Way, Arlington TX 76011 on September 12, 2026. It features running, rucking, and walking options designed to honor the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since, and to engage veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.

Multiple event formats are listed under the 5K distance. These include a general 5K open to individuals and families, a 5K ruck division offered in partnership with TMF and GORUCK in which registered ruckers receive the TMF GORUCK patch, a JROTC/ROTC 5K for those participants to experience the full race, and a formation 5K intended for school representatives to sign up groups that run in formation with no shirts, swag, or chipped bibs.
Registration windows vary by event. Many individual events open registration on May 19, 2026 with some closing July 1, 2026. The formation and JROTC/ROTC 5K registrations open June 9, 2026 and remain open later in the season. Volunteer registration opens May 20, 2026 and may remain open through the event date.
