9/11 Heroes Run - Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas
The 9/11 Heroes Run takes place on September 12, 2026 at the National Medal of Honor Museum, 1861 AT&T Way, Arlington, TX 76011. The event honors the heroes of 9/11 and others who have served, and it activates and unites communities while supporting local veterans, active duty personnel, first responders, and families of the fallen.
The event offers multiple participation options:
- 5K Run
- 5K Ruck
- 1 Mile Run/Walk
Race entries open May 19, 2026 and close July 1, 2026. Entry fees listed for the main events are $36 for the 5K run, $41 for the 5K ruck, and $21 for the 1 mile run walk. Volunteer registration opens May 20, 2026 and remains open through September 12, 2026; volunteer participation has no fee.
The run includes a rucking division in partnership with GORUCK. Rucking involves walking or running while carrying a weighted rucksack. Participants in the GORUCK division receive this year's TMF GORUCK patch. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
