9/11 Heroes Run - Brunswick, ME
The 9/11 Heroes Run in Brunswick, Maine is a community event on September 12, 2026 that honors the heroes of 9/11 and those who have served since. The event takes place at the Brunswick Rec Center, 220 Neptune Dr, Brunswick, ME 04011. It welcomes runners, ruckers, walkers, individuals, and families of all fitness levels.
The event program includes a road running division and a rucking division offered in partnership with TMF and GORUCK. Rucking is described as a sport based on special forces training in which participants walk or run while carrying weighted rucksacks. Participants registered in the GORUCK division receive this year’s exclusive TMF GORUCK patch.

Registration for the 5K Run and 5K Ruck opens June 2, 2026 and closes June 30, 2026; listed fees are $36.00 for the 5K Run and $41.00 for the 5K Ruck.
