Event overview

The 9 to 5K takes place on Saturday, March 14, 2026, in downtown Sevierville, Tennessee (Commerce St, Sevierville, TN 37862). The event includes two distance options:

5K run
1-mile Butterfly Walk/Run

The event is hosted by the Sevierville Commons Association and starts and finishes in front of the Sevier County Courthouse. Strollers are allowed and well-behaved, leashed dogs may participate.

Course and logistics

The 5K is a 100% road race described as flat and scenic, routing through downtown streets and greenways. Road closures will be managed by the Sevier County Police Department. Portable restrooms will be located near the start/finish. A water station is provided at mile 1.5. Multiple parking areas are noted near downtown, including a gravel lot across from the Sevierville Fire Station, a paved lot on the Parkway near Cash’s Hardware and the Sevier County Heritage Museum, and a gravel lot on Court Avenue.

Awards, giveaways, and purpose

Every 5K runner receives a T-shirt and a goodie bag; kids’ 1-mile participants receive a finisher gift and may have kids T-shirts if ordered in advance. Awards recognize the top three overall male and female 5K finishers and age-group awards in 10-year brackets (<19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60+).
