815 VKRC - VKRC Korean Liberation Day Run, 81st Anniversary Celebration
The event takes place on August 15, 2026 at Mundy Park (Hillcrest Field), 641 Hillcrest St, Coquitlam, BC V3J 6N9. It is organized to commemorate the 81st anniversary of Korean Liberation Day.
All participants register individually and choose a sub-event based on their running level. Teams of four or five runners are formed by the organizers to balance groups according to chosen sub-events and each participant's longest comfortable distance.
Key format and rules:
- Time limit per team: 2 hours.
- Team goal: complete 81.5 km in total.
- Participants run as many loops as possible within the two hour limit.
- Running, jogging, or walking are allowed, but all distance must be completed before the time limit expires.
- Individual distances are combined to form the team total.
- Teams that reach 81.5 km receive a special prize; awards are also given to the top performing team.

- 20 km runner
- 15 km runner
- 10 km runner
- 5 km runner
Registration on Race Roster requires a donation of $15 to complete registration. Participants must capture a screenshot of their activity showing distance and time and submit it to the organizers as proof of result. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
