Event overview
The 7 Bridges 7 Brews takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan. The event offers four options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 10K Run
- Virtual 5K
- Virtual 10K
Entry fees listed on the event page are $35 for the live 5K and 10K, and $45 for each virtual event. Registration for the virtual events opens on April 13, 2026. Proceeds benefit OUT House Consortium to develop, maintain, and promote non-motorized trail systems in the Sault Sainte Marie area.
Course and logistics
The race starts on the LSSU campus off Easterday Avenue, across from the Norris Center, and finishes downtown at Bird's Eye Outfitters, about 1 mile from the start. The course crosses all seven bridges that connect the downtown island area. The 10K follows the same route as the 5K until the final turn, then follows the St. Mary’s River coast toward the Sugar Island Ferry drive near Clyde’s. An aid station is located at the turnaround on the 10K course. The course will be marked and maps are available at check-in. A shuttle from Bird’s Eye Outfitters to the race start is available, and parking is provided on LSSU campus and downtown. Construction-related course updates will be communicated before race day.
Timing, awards, and post-race
Results are chip timed with a gun start and will be posted on yooperrunning.com. Awards include overall 1st place gender finishers, 1st place masters (40+), and 1st place in each age group: 1-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. All participants receive a unique medal, a custom tumbler from Bricco Designs, a drink token, and an invite to the island-themed post-race party at Bird's Eye Outfitters with live entertainment.
