5K Run/Walk for Innovation
The 5K Run/Walk for Innovation is an annual fundraising event organized by the Brookline High School Innovation Fund and held at Brookline High School, 115 Greenough St, Brookline, MA. The event takes place in May 2026 and is presented as a community run and walk to raise resources for educational programs at the high school.
Participants register for the 5K and may register under or fundraise for teams that represent Brookline High School classes, local K-8 schools, teachers and staff, private schools, sponsors, and the general community. The route map is provided by the organizers and the day includes a community after party at the start and finish area with music, games, food trucks and family activities.
The event lists multiple sponsors at platinum, gold, silver and bronze levels. The Brookline High School Innovation Fund reports that it has funded more than 30 academic, cultural and support programs, invested over 7 million dollars in curriculum, and that more than 2,000 students benefit annually from its work.
