3rd Annual Rumpee Family Brain Aneurysm Awareness Run/Walk
The 3rd Annual Rumpee Family Brain Aneurysm Awareness Run/Walk takes place on September 26, 2026 at 500 Adelaide Circle in Downtown Muskegon. The event raises awareness, supports survivors and families affected by brain aneurysms, and benefits the Brain Aneurysms Foundation.
Participants follow a course along the Muskegon bike path and the shoreline of Muskegon Lake. Distance options include:
- 5K run along the Muskegon bike path and Muskegon Lake shoreline
- 1 mile walk along the Muskegon bike path and Muskegon Lake shoreline
The event is not timed and is open to runners, walkers, families and supporters of all ages. Registration carries a fee of $40. Registration opens March 1, 2026 and closes September 26, 2026. Packet pick up is available on the day of the event at 500 Adelaide Circle.
Registration includes an event T shirt, a finisher medal and a race bib. Water stations are available along the course for participants. The event is sponsored by Bear Lake Tavern and Muskegon Brewing Company. After the event, participants who present a race bib, medal or T shirt at Bear Lake Tavern receive 10% off their total bill, and 5% of Bear Lake Tavern sales that day will be donated to the Brain Aneurysms Foundation.
