5K Run for the Ridley
The 5K Run for the Ridley is scheduled for October 17, 2026 in Riverhead, New York. The event base is listed as the parking lot behind Turkuaz Grill, Riverhead 11901.
The event offers a 5K run with both onsite and virtual participation options. Virtual participants may upload times and photos between October 17 and October 25. Registration fees on the event page show an early price of $44.15 (includes processing fee) and a race day price of $54.50; base registration amounts and processing fees are also displayed.
Onsite amenities and services include complimentary beverages and snacks, raffle tickets for sale the day of the event, live text and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for entries completed three weeks in advance. The first 150 registrants receive a T-shirt and one raffle ticket.
Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers and to the top three male and female finishers in age groups 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Bib pickup is handled at the back parking lot of the LIA and The Shipyard on McDermott, with an alternate location behind the LIA tent if it rains.
