5K Run for the Ridley
The 5K Run for the Ridley is scheduled for October 17, 2026 in Riverhead, New York. The event is offered as an in person 5 km run or as a virtual entry with virtual participation accepted from Oct 17 to Oct 25. The event location is the parking lot behind Turkuaz Grill in Riverhead, NY. Bib pickup is handled on site in the back parking lot of the LIA and The Shipyard on McDermott; if it rains, pickup will be behind the LIA in a large tent. Runners who register three weeks in advance are eligible for a personalized bib. Virtual entries may not include a bib or event swag, and mailed bibs are sent the Monday before the event with an estimated 3 to 5 day delivery window.
Amenities and services listed for participants include complimentary beverages and snacks, T shirts for the first 150 registrants (plus one raffle ticket), raffle tickets for sale on the day of the event, live online text and email results, and free finish line photos. Awards include medals for the top three male and female overall finishers and top three in multiple age groups.
