About the race
The 5K Run for the Ridley is a community road event on October 17, 2026 in Riverhead, NY. The event is held at the Parking Lot Behind Turkuaz Grill (11901) and is scheduled rain or shine. Both in person and virtual participation options are offered; virtual participants may upload times and photos between October 17 and October 25.
Base registration options listed include a 5K Run/Walk and a virtual 5K. Registration fees are nonrefundable and additional options may affect the total cost. The first 150 registrants receive a T-shirt and one raffle ticket; additional raffle tickets are available for purchase on the day of the event. Suggested donation amounts are provided during registration.
Event services include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for entries submitted at least three weeks before the event. Bib pickup locations are specified on the event page and an alternate tent location is noted in case of rain. Awards include medals for the top three male and female overall finishers and medals for the top three male and female in these age groups: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus.
