5K Run for the Ridley 2026
The 5K Run for the Ridley takes place on October 17, 2026 in Riverhead, NY at the parking lot behind Turkuaz Grill. The event supports the New York Marine Rescue Center and includes in person and virtual participation options.
Registration includes a processing fee and listed totals. Prices shown on the event page include processing fees; a base entry amount of $40.00 is noted for standard registrations. Early and race day totals were listed for in person and virtual entries.

Amenities and participant services include complimentary beverages and snacks, T-shirts for the first 150 registrants plus one raffle ticket for those first 150, live/text/email results, free finish line photos, and the option for a personalized bib if registered three weeks in advance. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event.
Awards are provided with medals to the top three male and female overall finishers and medals to the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups from 9 and under through 70 and over.
Bib pickup is located in the back parking lot of the LIA and The Shipyard on McDermott, with an alternate tent location behind the LIA if it rains.
