5K For Kids Cancer - Isabella Santos Foundation
The Isabella Santos Foundation 5K for Kids with Cancer returns to Rea Farms in Ballantyne as a community event that helped start a fundraising movement. The foundation has raised more than $19 million to support research and family programs for children with rare pediatric cancers.
The event combines running and a festival atmosphere. Features include local food and drink, a family-friendly Kids Zone with free fairy hair and a foam pit, live music and emcee entertainment, a curated Vendor Row, a VIP adult area, and an exclusive silent auction. Vendor space is available for local boutiques, artisans and makers.
Race and ticket options include:
- 5K (includes official race bib, finisher medal, commemorative t-shirt and full festival access)
- 1-Mile Fun Run (family-friendly, includes full festival access) A festival-only ticket allows access to the Kids Zone, foam party, music and vendors.
All proceeds support research, clinical trials and family support programs at Levine Children’s Hospital and Novant Hemby Children’s Hospital.
