5K 4 Rent - event overview

5K 4 Rent is a community 5K run in Cincinnati, Ohio, presented by Jetz Service and benefitting The Apartment Association Outreach, Inc. The event raises funds for the Outreach rental assistance program, which helps families and individuals facing housing instability stay in their rental homes.

The Apartment Association Outreach is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides clothing and household items and supports six programs through annual fundraisers. Outreach partners with four local social service agencies to identify needs and offer support such as education, training, and case management.

The timed adult entry fee is $45 and includes a unisex soft-style T-shirt when registered by April 8. Children 10 and under may register free; free entries are not timed, do not include a shirt, and are not considered for age group awards unless the child is registered using the paid option. Awards include gift certificates for first, second, and third place male and female finishers.

Shirt pickup is available on April 22 at the Greater Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Apartment Association office at 7265 Kenwood Rd, Cincinnati OH 45236. Parking is available at TM Berry International Friendship Park and the adjacent Montgomery Inn Boathouse. After the race, grab-and-go breakfast sandwiches, snacks, and water will be provided. Results will be posted on the event website. The organizers reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or convert the event to a virtual race; there are no refunds and race items will not be mailed.
