50k Mashup Slam

Event overview

The 50K MASHUP SLAM is a series of trail races in the Midwest based on the 50K distance. The series includes multiple events across the year, begins with the Frozen Gnome 50K in January and concludes in November with the Miner 49'er 50K. Participants who complete each of the five series races in the same calendar year receive a finisher buckle. Awards for the top three series finishers are based on fastest cumulative finish times. Finisher buckles and awards are presented at the final event (G.O.A.T.z 50K or Miner 49'er 50K).

Registration and rules

Registration for the 50K MASHUP closes on January 1, 2026. The series registration fee is non-refundable. Each series registrant receives a special pricing code by email to use when registering for individual races; misuse of the code can lead to disqualification from the series. Participants must be registered for the 50K MASHUP by January 1, 2026 and for the first race, Frozen Gnome 50K. The first 25 people who register for the series by December 1, 2025 will have a guaranteed spot in the Clinton Lake 50K for 2026. Runners who register by December 1, 2025 also have an opportunity to pre-register for the Ice Age 50K. Individual race registration and fees remain the responsibility of each participant, and some races have field limits. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
