Race for the Gold 5K : Gilberts, IL
Race for the Gold is scheduled for April 19 at Town Center Park, 301 Columbia Lane, Gilberts, Illinois. The event includes a community 5K course that starts and finishes at Town Center Park. Cross Kicks Fitness will host a Youth Performance Zone with trainers guiding children through speed and agility stations and athletic challenges.

The 5K entry fee follows a tiered schedule: March 1 to March 20 at $30, March 21 to April 12 at $35, and April 13 through race day at $45. Separate youth performance and combined entry options are listed for the event.
Packet pickup is available at Cross Kicks Fitness, 2284 County Line Rd, Algonquin, with times on Friday, April 17 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, April 18 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Packet pickup will also be available on race day at Town Center Park.
Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants; shirts are not guaranteed for same-day registrants. Food and refreshments will be provided. A supervised Kids Corral is available during the race, staffed by Gilberts Elementary School teachers and staff. All participants receive finisher medals.
