Taco Bell 50K Knoxville : event description

The Taco Bell 50K Knoxville is a 50 kilometer loop in Knoxville, Tennessee that visits seven Taco Bell locations and returns to The Long Run at 2452 Sutherland Avenue. A downloadable GPX file is provided for navigation; the course will not be marked and organizers recommend loading the GPX to a watch or phone. Timing services are provided by East Coast Adventures. Registration opens April 1, 2026, and the 2027 edition is in-person only with a small entry fee and a medal for finishers.

The route is open to vehicle traffic and includes road crossings, sidewalks, greenways, and some road sections with little or no shoulder. Safety requirements include wearing a 360 degree reflective vest at all times on course and no in-ear or over-the-ear headphones. Participants must stay on sidewalks and greenways when available, use crosswalks for road crossings, and run against traffic where there is no sidewalk.

Race rules require visiting all seven Taco Bell stops in order on foot and eating a menu item at each stop. Specific food requirements apply by the third and sixth stops; some items are disallowed. Participants must keep receipts and wrappers for verification. The stated cutoff for completion is eleven hours; the organizer will not sweep the course.
