Taco Bell 50K Knoxville - February 27, 2027
This event is a 50K running loop in Knoxville, Tennessee that visits seven Taco Bell locations in sequence and returns to The Long Run at 2452 Sutherland Ave. The route is open to traffic and includes sidewalks, greenways, and several road crossings.
The course will not be marked. Organizers provide a downloadable GPX file for navigation and turn-by-turn directions between each Taco Bell stop. Participants must travel the full route on foot and visit all seven Taco Bell locations in order.
Safety and participant rules are explicit. A 360 degree reflective vest is required while on course. Over-the-ear and in-ear headphones are prohibited. Runners must use sidewalks and greenways when available, cross roads at pedestrian crosswalks, and, where there is no sidewalk, run against traffic and use the grass shoulder when possible. Timing services are provided by East Coast Adventures and the event enforces an 11 hour cutoff for official completion, though participants may finish later.
Food rules require ordering and consuming a menu item at each Taco Bell on site; receipts and wrappers must be kept for verification. Certain items are disallowed and specific larger items are required by the 3rd and 6th stops. The 2027 edition is in-person only, includes a small entry fee and a finisher medal, and offers packet pickup the day before at Pace House by The Long Run.
