Taco Bell 50K Knoxville
Taco Bell 50K Knoxville is a 50K loop race in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 27, 2027. The route visits seven Taco Bell restaurants in order and returns to the start at 2452 Sutherland Avenue. A downloadable GPX file and turn‑by‑turn directions are provided for navigation because the course will not be marked.
The course is open to traffic and includes multiple road crossings and some sections with little or no shoulder. Participants are required to wear a 360 degree reflective vest and to keep ears uncovered by in‑ear or over‑the‑ear headphones. Runners should use sidewalks and greenways where available, cross at pedestrian crosswalks, and run against traffic on open road sections when necessary.
Rules require traveling on foot to all seven stops in order and ordering and consuming a menu item at each Taco Bell on site. By the third stop participants must have consumed a Chalupa Supreme, a Crunchwrap Supreme, or a Cheesy Gordita Crunch; by the sixth stop they must have consumed a Burrito Supreme or Nachos Bell Grande. Certain items are disallowed, including Cinnamon Twists, Cinnabon Delights, and Cheesy Roll Up. Participants must keep receipts and wrappers for verification and may not use specified antacid products on course.
There is an 11 hour cutoff for the event; timing services are provided by East Coast Adventures. For 2027 the event is in person only, packet pick up is available the day before at Pace House by The Long Run at 2452 Sutherland Ave, and a small entry fee applies with medals for finishers.
