Mount Seymour : 5 Peaks Trail Running
The event takes place in Mount Seymour Provincial Park, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver. The Sport and Enduro courses run through dense BC forest and pass around Goldie and Flower lakes. The race is one event in the BC 5 Peaks Trail Running Series.
Distances offered include:
- Kids 1 km
- Kids 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike 6.5 km
- Enduro Run or Hike 10 km
- Grit Run 14.1 km
Maps, elevation gain and loss details, and aid station locations are provided. Race distances and maps may change based on trail conditions up to the day of the event.
A non-competitive hiking division is available, led by pace leaders to allow participants to walk or hike the full course without competition; this division does not have a podium but participants are entered into prize draws and activities. Nordic walking poles are allowed only in the hiking division.
Safety and logistics notes: no dogs, no headphones, and no strollers, baby joggers, or baby carriers on course. Washrooms are located in the parking lot and parking is described as plentiful. Awards and medals are presented to top finishers by gender and age category and must be picked up at the race. Optional swag and finisher medals can be pre-purchased through Race Roster or bought on site while supplies last. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
