5 Peaks - Mount Seymour

The event takes place on trails in Mount Seymour Provincial Park, including sections around Goldie and Flower lakes and through dense BC forest. It is part of the BC 5 Peaks Trail Running Series.

Distances offered include:

  • Kid's 1 km
  • Kid's 3 km
  • Sport Run or Hike 6.5 km
  • Enduro Run or Hike 10 km
  • Grit Run 14.1 km

A non-competitive hiking division is led by pace leaders to allow participants to walk the full course without time pressure. Estimated finish times for hikers are around 2 hours for the Sport course and 3 hours for the Enduro course.

Safety rules prohibit dogs, headphones, and strollers on the race course. Nordic walking poles are permitted only in the non-competitive hiking division. Washroom facilities are located in the parking lot and organizers report ample parking. Spectators are welcome with the best viewing from the start and finish area.

Course maps, elevation profiles, and aid station locations are provided but may change based on trail conditions up to race day. Optional swag and finisher medals can be purchased on site and awards must be picked up at the event; they will not be mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
