5 Peaks Mount Seymour

The event takes place on trails in Mount Seymour Provincial Park, running through dense BC forest and around Goldie and Flower lakes. The venue is located about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver.

Available race distances cover a range of ages and preferences:

  • Kid's 1 km
  • Kid's 3 km
  • Sport 6.5 km
  • Enduro 10 km
  • Grit 14.1 km

Maps, elevation information, and aid station locations are provided for each distance. Race distances and maps may change based on trail conditions up to race day.

A non-competitive hiking division is led by two pace leaders. This division starts one hour earlier than the runners and requires participants to walk without running. Estimated finish times are about 2 hours for the Sport course and 3 hours for the Enduro. Hikers do not receive podium placements but are entered into prize draws.

Safety rules for the course prohibit dogs, headphones, strollers, baby carriers, and nordic walking poles except for use in the hiking division. Washroom facilities are located in the parking area. Parking is described as plentiful and spectators are directed to the start/finish area for best viewing.

Promotional items and optional finisher medals can be purchased through the race registration platform or on site while supplies last. Medals and awards are handed out at the event and are not mailed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
