Race Information
The 5 Peaks - Golden Ears trail run takes place in Golden Ears Provincial Park in British Columbia. It is the second event in the 5 Peaks Trail Running Series.
Distances
Multiple race distances are offered:
- Kids Fun Run - 1 km
- Kids Run - 3 km
- Sport Run or Hike - 7.25 km
- Enduro Run or Hike - 12 km
- Grit Run - 16 km
Race distances and routes may change due to trail conditions. Hikers start early and are asked not to run to avoid finishing ahead of runners. The event is described as cup-free, so participants must carry their own receptacle for water and electrolyte drink.
Venue and Logistics
Golden Ears is one of the largest provincial parks, featuring an extensive trail system. Washrooms are available at the start/finish area. Spectators are welcome. Parking is in Lot 2, a short walk from check-in. Packet pickup is available on the day before and the morning of the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
