Annual Fund Run
The Annual Fund Run is organized by the Ridge Meadows Hospital Foundation and takes place on the first Sunday of June to raise funds for essential equipment at Ridge Meadows Hospital. The event is held each year to support hospital priorities and projects that serve the local community.
The 23rd edition ran despite rainy conditions and raised more than $56,000, surpassing that year’s fundraising goal. Over the past 23 years the Fund Run has raised a total of more than $700,000. Proceeds have been used to fund quality health care equipment, high priority needs, and special projects that support patients and families in Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows.
The event brings together participants, sponsors, volunteers and supporters to generate funding for local health care. Sponsorship and participation have contributed to ongoing equipment purchases and other hospital priorities across successive editions of the Fund Run.
