Event Overview
The 5-Mile Beach at Wildwood Crest event takes place in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, with the staging area located at Sunrise at Rambler Park. This multi-distance running event features a course that includes the local Boardwalk, offering participants the opportunity to run during the sunrise. The event is open to runners, walkers, and families.
Race Options
Participants can choose from several individual distances or a combination challenge:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- Combo 5K and 10K (15K total)
Participant Information
The event has a four-hour time limit for all distances. For the half marathon, a single early start option is available one hour before the standard departure for those anticipating a pace of 15 minutes per mile or slower. Early starters are not eligible for awards. The race includes a non-binary registration category with its own overall and age group awards.
First-time half marathon finishers receive a commemorative plaque in addition to their finisher medal. Post-race amenities include an inflatable finish line arch as well as food and drink for participants.
