The 5 Alarm 5K Run to Remember is a fundraising run and walk held in Indianapolis during FDIC International. Event options include:

- Virtual 5K
The virtual event requires participants to run or walk between April 7 and April 12 and submit their time.
Location and course
The in-person event takes place at White River State Park, 801 W Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46204. The course is described as flat, fast, closed, and it follows the Indianapolis Canal. Participants may choose to be timed.
Entry, fees, and awards
Both the in-person and virtual events have an entry fee of $30. The registration price increases after March 25, 2026. Registrations made by April 2 are guaranteed a shirt. A commemorative coin will be given to the first 500 registrants. An award is offered to the top fundraiser; the prize includes a trip to FDIC covering conference costs, lodging, and transportation. A minimum of $1,000 in donations and donations received before January 30, 2025, are required to be considered for the award.
Purpose and beneficiaries
Proceeds support the Firefighter Cancer Support Network and its work assisting firefighters and EMS providers diagnosed with cancer through resources, peer support, training, and guidance.
