About the race
The 4 Castles Series 2027 is a multi-race series of four half marathons held at different locations across Wales. The 2026 series sold out and the 2027 series is open for entries. A single-series price is listed at £178 and an interest free payment option is available to spread the cost.
Entrants must meet a strict time requirement: each mile must be completed in under 15 minutes, and failure to meet this pace will result in elimination after the third mile. Discount codes cannot be applied to the series entry; discount codes may be used on individual races but using them for individual race entries removes eligibility for the large castles series medal.
Participants receive a large bespoke medal and a technical T-shirt at each race, and those who complete the series receive a large bespoke golden medal. The organiser states an entry fee promise to price match or lower fees against other leading race organisers.
The series comprises four half marathons on the following dates and locations in Wales:
- The Snowdonia Half Marathon - 9 May 2027
- The Bangor Half Marathon - 13 June 2027
- The Caernarfon Half Marathon - 5 September 2027
- The Conwy Half Marathon - 21 November 2027
