25 JAM 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk at Cascade Park
This community running and walking event is scheduled for August 22, 2026, at Cascade Park, 1928 East Washington St., New Castle, PA. The event offers two distance options and displays historical images of Cascade Park along the route to highlight the park's background and memories.

Registration opens April 1, 2026 and closes May 1, 2026. The early registration fee is $15.00 and the fee increases to $25.00 on May 2, 2026. Children ages five and under are free. T shirts are provided at check in. Light refreshments will be available following the run and walk.
Awards include a cash prize of $125.00 for the overall best time among runners and $50.00 for the top walker. Proceeds support New Castle Area student athletes through The Little Brother Scholarship and the 25 JAM program.
25 JAM is a nonprofit organization that provides mentorship focused on financial literacy and related life skills. Program topics include emotional intelligence, money management, budgeting, college readiness, and entrepreneurial skills.
