14er Fest 14K

About the race

14er Fest is a fall multi-event trail running event in Buena Vista, Colorado, held on September 27, 2026, at 402 East Main Street. Trail running is a key component and the event offers two race options that both use sections of the Buena Vista River Park and the local trail network.

The 14K follows much of the 5K route through the River Park, then crosses the Arkansas River bridge and continues on the Midland Hill Trail System. The route gains over 500 feet of elevation and provides elevated views of Buena Vista, the Arkansas River, and the Collegiate Peaks. The return follows the South Midland Trail, crosses the river again, runs through South Main, and finishes near Vendor Village and the Eddyline Beer Garden. Registration fee for the 14K is $50.00. Participants who register before September 17, 2026 will receive a 14er Fest-branded bandana.

The 5K is a 3.1-mile course that starts and ends in the heart of Vendor Village. The course uses road, dirt, and gravel trails as it winds through the Buena Vista River Park, offering views along the Arkansas River and panoramic views of the Collegiate Peaks.
