Autumn Run - Buena Vista, Colorado
Autumn Run takes place each year on the third weekend in September in and around Buena Vista, Colorado. The event uses McPhelemy Park and nearby trails around Town Lake and the upper Arkansas River Valley at the base of the Collegiate Peaks. The event is operated under a special use permit with the Pike San Isabel National Forest.

Logistics and participant policies are handled online with card payments; registration may close early if participant caps are reached. Shuttle buses run from McPhelemy Park to the half marathon start because roadside parking at the start is limited and the road is narrow. Several runs are stroller friendly; children who ride in strollers do not need separate registration. Half marathon runners using a stroller must arrange their own transportation to the start line.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before and on race day at McPhelemy Park. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers of each run. All participants receive a race shirt, a commemorative finisher award, and a reusable Hydrapak speed cup as part of a cupless sustainable racing program. Animals are not allowed on the race courses; dogs may be at the start and finish but must be leashed and kept at least 20 feet from those areas.
