13 Mile Trail Race Top Down
The event is a point-to-point Half Marathon held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Almaden Quicksilver County Park. The course begins at the Mt. Umunhum parking lot and descends to the Hacienda Entrance parking lot on Almaden Road.
The route covers approximately 13.4 miles with a total ascent of 1,909 feet. The first 3 miles are on single-track Mt. Umunhum Trail and are unmarked; thereafter the course is marked with single solid pink ribbons, orange cones, signs and gypsum. The course includes toilets at the start, at the finish, and at all aid stations.
Aid and water stations are located at these approximate mile markers: Mile 3.2 (Mt. Umunhum and Barlow Trail intersection), Mile 5 (Sierra Azul Woods and Barlow Trail intersection), Mile 7.9 (Woods Parking Lot aid station), and Mile 10.9 (Mine Hill and Catamount Trail intersection). The Woods Parking Lot aid station and the finish both have toilets. Cutoffs will be strictly enforced and the race has a 5.5-hour time limit.
Registration fees are listed for the Half Marathon and do not include processing fees. Online registration is available through the evening before the race; race day registration is available at the event. Volunteers are requested for aid stations and receive a future race entry in return. Technical shirts are available during registration or at the event, subject to supply.
