12Ks of Christmas
The 12Ks of Christmas is the final event of The Oak Series, presented as a Christmas themed race held in Apopka, FL on December 19, 2026. The course is a marked loop measuring 1.875 miles. Runners progress around the loop for the number of laps required by their division.
Divisions and distances:
- Calling Birds Division - team of 4; each runner completes 1 lap (1.875 miles)
- Turtle Dove Division - team of 2; each runner completes 2 laps (3.75 miles)
- Pear Tree Division - single runner completes 4 laps (7.5 miles)
Runners and volunteers who wear Christmas themed clothing are entered into a raffle. The event permits team entries so friends can combine efforts to cover the total distance.
Opportunities for local businesses are noted: vendors may apply to promote their businesses at the event, and companies can receive discounted rates based on group participation.
