Race Overview
The US Road Running event in Midlothian takes place at Midlothian Mines Park. This event features two distinct distance options:
- 5K
- 10K
The meeting point is located at the Headstock next to Loch Lothian. All participants are required to register online prior to the event, as there is no registration available on the day of the race. Packet pickup begins 30 minutes before the scheduled start and concludes 10 minutes before the movement begins.
Course Details
Both distances utilize a specific out-and-back course segment measuring 1.56 miles total. The route is based on a 0.78-mile section. Participants in the 5K race complete this out-and-back loop two times. Runners participating in the 10K race complete the same loop four times.
There is a strictly enforced course time limit of 2:00 hours for all participants. Every runner who finishes the race receives a finisher medal.
