Medal Madness 5K & 10K is scheduled for June 20, 2026, in Akron, PA at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park (221 N 11th St, Akron, PA 17501). The event offers these distances:

10K

All finishers receive a themed medal. The event earns points toward the US Road Running Race Series. Costumes are encouraged; a group photo is taken at the start of each race and a best-costume award is given at that time. All participants must register on RunSignup; there is no on-site registration.

Course and logistics

The course is paved and laid out as an out-and-back. The 5K completes the course twice and the 10K completes the course four times. Both races have a maximum time limit of 2:00 hours. Packet pickup opens 30 minutes before the race and closes 10 minutes before the race. Bathrooms are available at the pavilion by the starting line.
