US Road Running - Tarpon Springs
The US Road Running event in Tarpon Springs takes place at Fred Howard Park. This race event features multiple distances on an out-and-back course. The course layout is a 1.04-mile out-and-back loop. Runners participating in the different events will complete a set number of laps to reach their total distance.
Participants can choose from the following race distances:
- 5K: This race requires completing the course loop three times.
- 10K: This race requires completing the course loop six times.
The event is held under a strict course time limit of two hours for all participants. Registration must be completed online through RunSignup, as there is no option for on-site registration on the day of the event. Packet pickup is conducted at the race location, ending ten minutes prior to the start.
Parking is available for participants in the lot located next to the restrooms and pavilion 6 within the park. All finishers will receive a medal upon completion of their race. This event is part of the US Road Running race series, where runners can earn points toward series standings.
