Luau 5K & 10K at Westminster
The Luau 5K & 10K at Westminster is a running event held at Avondale Park in Maryland. This event features two main race distances:
- 5K
- 10K
The competition takes place on an out-and-back course measuring 0.78 miles for a single leg (totaling 1.56 miles per full lap). Participants in the 5K event complete this course twice, while those in the 10K event complete the course four times. There is a general course time limit of 2:00 hours for all participants.
All runners must register in advance through the online platform, as there is no registration available on-site at the park. Participation includes packet pickup which begins 30 minutes before the event and concludes 10 minutes prior to the start. Every finisher receives a medal upon completing their respective distance. The event also features a costume competition where participants are encouraged to wear themed attire.
