Run to Remember - Sykesville
Run to Remember takes place April 17, 2027 at Piney Run Park, 30 Martz Rd, Sykesville, MD. The event offers multiple timed and untimed options on a measured loop course around the park.
Distances
- 50K - six laps of a 5.25 mile loop
- 25K - three laps of the 5.25 mile loop
- 5 Miler - one lap of the 5.25 mile loop
- 8 Hour Challenge - as many laps as each runner completes within the time limit
The course runs through woods and meadows and includes lake views on roughly half of the loop. There are two places to pass a water stop on the course and each loop transitions through a well stocked aid station offering a variety of food and drinks. Race fee includes park entrance, a custom ice bandana, and a unique Run to Remember ceramic mug. Medals are awarded to the top three male and female finishers of each race.
The event is held rain or shine. All fees are nonrefundable and there is no race day registration. Registration closes Wed, Apr 14 at 11:59 PM ET. Packet pick up is scheduled April 16 from 4 to 7 PM at Otzi Mediterranean Restaurant in Eldersburg. A portion of proceeds supports the running club, its youth program, a scholarship, and the American Association for Cancer Research.
