10 Mile Brewery Run in Memory of Ric DiVeglio

The event is a 10-mile road run held on January 16, 2027, in Patchogue, New York, with the post-race activities centered at The Sandbar, 31 Baker Place. Entry is restricted to participants aged 21 and over. The course is certified and includes a 2 hour 15 minute cutoff; runners who do not finish within that time will be asked to move off the course and will not receive a finish time. Roads are open under the event permit until 10:30 am.
Race amenities include technical race shirts in men's and women's sizing, custom finisher medals, live music, post-race refreshments, and beer provided by Blue Point Brewing Company plus non-alcoholic beer from Monatuk Brewery. Water stops and portable toilets are located at miles 3, 5 and 7. A self-serve bag drop will be available at the post-race party area; organizers do not assume responsibility for belongings.
Team scoring allows each team to field one entry in each division: male, female and co-ed. Team benefits scale with size, including reserved tables and complimentary first-round beer for larger teams, and VIP portable facilities for the largest teams. Awards cover top overall finishers, age-group placings across standard age brackets, wheelchair division winners, age-graded top finishers with comped future entries, and masters and senior masters categories. Early bib pickup is offered at Blue Point Brewing Company the day before the event and on the morning of the event at The Sandbar. Public transit via the Patchogue LIRR station is encouraged; that station is about a 12-minute walk to The Sandbar. Fundraising participants who raise $300 receive a refunded registration fee, with funds distributed among designated charitable partners.
