10 Mile Brewery Run : GLIRC 16th Annual, January 16, 2027
This is a 10 mile road race held in Patchogue, New York, at The Sandbar (31 Baker Pl.). The event is restricted to participants aged 21 and over. Registration will open prior to the event date.
Race amenities include tech-fabric race shirts in men's and women's sizing, custom finisher medals, live music, post-race refreshments, and on-site craft beer along with non-alcoholic beer. Age-graded results are provided and all registrants receive a discount on select future GLIRC events. A self-serve bag drop is located at the post-race party next to the start area; organizers do not assume responsibility for stored items.
The course is certified and includes water stops and portable toilets at miles 3, 5, and 7. There is a 2 hour and 15 minute cutoff; participants who cannot complete the course within this time will be asked to move to the roadside without traffic safety support and will not receive an official finish time.
Bib pickup is available early at Blue Point Brewing Company on the days before the race with a happy hour special for pickup attendees, and on race morning in the event tent at The Sandbar. Public transport to the Patchogue LIRR station is encouraged; the station is about a 12-minute walk to the start. Approved parking areas are identified near the venue.
Team divisions allow one entry per Male, Female, and Co-ed team division; larger teams receive table, beer, or VIP portable perks. Awards cover overall, age groups, wheelchair categories, and masters divisions. Fundraising of $300 qualifies participants for a registration refund, with funds split among designated charities.
