10 Mile Brewery Run, 16th annual, January 16, 2027
The event is a memorial 10 mile brewery run held on January 16, 2027 at The Sandbar in Patchogue, NY. The event is restricted to participants aged 21 and over.
Race amenities include tech-fabric race shirts available in men's and women's sizing, custom finisher medals, live music, post-race refreshments, beer from Blue Point Brewing Company and non-alcoholic beer from Monatuk Brewery, and age graded results. A self-serve bag drop is available at the post-race party. Water stops and portable toilets are placed at miles 3, 5 and 7.
Team scoring allows one entry per team in Male, Female and Co-ed divisions. Team perks include a reserved table for teams of 15 or more, a first round of beer on the table for teams of 25 or more, and a VIP portable for teams of 50 or more.
Awards are presented to the top three men and women overall, top three men and women in listed age groups, top wheelchair racers, top age graded men and women with comped entry into a future GLIRC race, top masters and top senior masters.
There is a 2 hour and 15 minute course cutoff; participants who do not finish within that time will not receive a finish time and will be asked to move to the side of the road without traffic safety support. Public transport to the Patchogue LIRR station is encouraged; the station is approximately a 12 minute walk to The Sandbar. Approved parking locations are listed for the event.
Early bib pickup takes place at Blue Point Brewing Company on the days before the race and day of bib pickup is available at The Sandbar. Fundraisers who raise at least $300 receive a refund of their registration fee and the funds are split among designated charities.
