Event overview
The 16th Annual 10 Mile Brewery Run in Memory of Ric DiVeglio takes place on January 17, 2026 at The Sandbar, 31 Baker Pl., Patchogue, NY. The event is limited to participants aged 21 and over. The race uses a USATF certified, flat course. New for this year are pacers to help runners reach their 10 mile goal. All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a long sleeve tech shirt.
Course and logistics
The course has water stops and portable toilets at miles 3, 5 and 7. There is a 2 hour 15 minute cutoff; runners who do not finish within that time will be asked to move off the course and will not receive a finish time. A self-serve bag drop is located at the post-race party near the start line. Public transport to Patchogue LIRR is recommended; the station is about a 12-minute walk to The Sandbar. Approved parking areas include River Ave School, Patchogue LIRR Train Station, the courthouse on West Main Street, and the Fire Island National Seashore lot on West Avenue.

Post-race offerings include complimentary Blue Point beer, food, live music and non-alcoholic beer from Monatuk Brewery.
