Belle Haven 5k and 10k
The Belle Haven 5k and 10k take place at Belle Haven Park in Alexandria, VA. Both races use a paved course along the Mount Vernon Trail with views of the Potomac River and sections through forest and swampy areas.

The course is paved with minimal elevation change. The 5 km is an out and back along the Mount Vernon Trail. The 10 km follows the same route and continues about 1.55 miles farther before a second turnaround.
Timing and amenities include chip timing, a finisher medal, and a technical event shirt. Water stations are provided along the courses; the 10 km has four stations near mile markers 0.9, 2.5, 4.0, and 5.55, while the 5 km has stations near miles 0.9 and 2.5. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are available on site. Packet pickup is available at the event and participants are advised to arrive early to check in. There is no on site race registration. A virtual race option is offered.
Points earned at this event count toward the Year Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series, and toward the Winter Series. The event supports Paws of Honor, which provides veterinary care and supplies at no charge for retired military and law enforcement K9s.
Live results are posted on Athlinks with final results and series points posted the Monday after the race. Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to first and second in standard age categories. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
