Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon : Canberra, 8 November 2026
The Sri Chinmoy Triple-Triathlon is a single-day, off-road multi-sport event held in and around Canberra. The course links three lakes and passes over ten peaks using trails, parkland and dedicated transition compounds. Entrants may compete solo or in relay teams of 3 up to 9 members. Swim caps are compulsory for all swims and wetsuits are strongly recommended; race-day wetsuit rules may be applied by officials.
Key features include multiple transition compounds with full aid supplies, several staffed aid stations on bike and run legs, and event communications centred at the finish area. Road crossings and public paths are used on the course, so athletes are required to give way to other users and obey marshals. Only off-road bikes are permitted; road, gravel and cyclo-cross bikes and aero bars are not allowed.
Registration and a compulsory briefing take place before race day at a designated location in Dickson. Team composition and leg orders must be confirmed at registration and replacement rules apply if categories would otherwise change. Number checkpoints are used on each leg and failure to be recorded at a checkpoint incurs a time penalty. Contingency plans are in place for lake closures, with course or date adjustments possible.
