D.A.R.E. Classic 5K
The New Hampshire State Police D.A.R.E. Classic is a community road race in its 34th year, held in 2026. It operates as a fundraiser for the D.A.R.E. program in New Hampshire. Proceeds are used to provide D.A.R.E. workbooks for the 80 communities in the state that offer D.A.R.E. classes at elementary schools. Funds also assist the training of new D.A.R.E. officers; New Hampshire hosts a two week school for officers who will teach D.A.R.E. throughout New England.
Event activities include demonstrations by K9 and motorcycle units, a kids fun run, a drill team appearance, the national anthem, and the main 5K road race. The event is organized by the New Hampshire State Police D.A.R.E. program and combines community engagement with fundraising and officer training support.
