Bear Brook Trail Races
The Bear Brook Trail Races take place at Bear Brook State Park, 157 Deerfield Road, Allenstown, NH. The event offers two race options:
- Ultramarathon: distance varies between 50k and 100k
- Half Marathon: course measured near 13.1 miles
The ultramarathon distance will change from year to year and the exact course will be released one month before the race. Ultramarathon runners will receive cutoff details when the course is released. There is no cutoff for the half marathon.
The event is GPX only with minimal to no course markings. Entrants are required to download and use the GPX file to navigate the course. Aid stations do not supply cups or containers; participants must carry their own water bottles or soft flasks for refilling. Pets are not permitted to run with participants, and crews and pacers are not allowed.
Camping is available in the park and nearby towns such as Concord and Manchester offer additional lodging; Concord is about 20 minutes from the start. Registration closes on Wed, Sep 9 at 11:59 PM ET. The refund policy offers a full refund minus Ultrasignup fees if cancellation is completed through Ultrasignup at least 60 days before the race; within 60 days the fee is forfeited or may be deferred to the following year, and canceling within one week forfeits all fees.
